Custom Exterior Finishes

We want to provide you with a unique and personal service to make your home shine. It could be something like a cabinet (shown on the left) on your exterior wall to hide some panels and pipes. You can also make your home feel unique and really pop in the neighborhood with some gable brackets, corbels and shutters.

Corbels

Corbels for exterior siding are decorative architectural elements that can be used to add visual interest to a home's exterior. These corbels are similar to the traditional corbels used in architecture to support overhanging structures, but instead of providing structural support, they are purely decorative.

Exterior corbels can be made from a variety of materials, including wood, stone, metal, and synthetic materials. They come in a range of sizes and designs, from simple and functional to highly ornate.

Corbels for exterior siding are typically installed underneath the eaves or roofline, where they create a visual transition between the siding and the roof. They can also be used to accentuate gables, dormers, and other architectural features on a home's exterior.

Gable Accents

A gable accent is a decorative architectural element that is installed on the gable of a building. A gable is the triangular portion of a wall that sits between the two sloping sides of a roof. Gable accents are used to enhance the visual appeal of a building's exterior, often adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to its design.

There are many types of gable accents that you can consider for your home, including:

Gable vents: These are decorative vents that are installed on the gable to provide ventilation to the attic space while adding a decorative element to the roofline.

Decorative trim: Adding decorative trim to the gable can help to frame the area and create a focal point on the building's exterior. This can include crown moulding, dentil moulding, or other types of decorative trim.

Louvers: Louvers are similar to gable vents, but they feature slatted openings that allow for greater airflow. They can be installed vertically or horizontally, and they come in a variety of styles and materials.

Fretwork: Fretwork is a type of decorative woodwork that is often used on the gable of Victorian-style homes. It typically features intricate, lacy patterns that can be painted in a variety of colors to add visual interest to the building's exterior.

Pediments: Pediments are triangular-shaped decorative elements that are installed above the gable. They can be simple or highly ornate, and they come in a variety of styles and materials.

Custom Architectural Features

This beautiful home was covered in Cape Cod Wood Siding. The corner posts that normally go with the siding didn't satisfy the owner. So we combined some 2x4 lumber with some window molding to create a custom corner post for the wall. Afterwards it was painted several times to match the rest of the material.
