Soffit & Fascia

The soffit is the underside of the roof overhang, which connects the roofline to the side of the building. It’s often made of vinyl, aluminum, or wood, and is designed to provide ventilation for the attic or upper part of the building, while also protecting it from weather damage. The soffit is important because it helps to prevent moisture buildup in the roof and attic, which can lead to mold, rot, and other issues.

The fascia also plays an important role in protecting the roof from water damage, as it covers the exposed ends of the rafters, and supports the gutter system. The fascia can be decorated or painted to match the style of the building, and is an important element in the overall look of a roofline.

Aluminium Soffit & Fascia

Aluminum is a highly durable material that is resistant to rust, corrosion, and weather damage. It can withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, and UV rays without warping, cracking or peeling. This makes it a good choice for soffit and fascia, as it can protect the roof and attic from the elements for many years.

Wood Soffit & Fascia

Wood has a natural warmth and beauty that can add a unique look and feel to a building. It can be stained, painted or left to weather naturally, giving homeowners and builders many design options. Wood soffit and fascia can also blend well with other wood features, such as trim or siding. Wood is a versatile material that can be easily cut, shaped, and installed. This can be useful in situations where a customized look or shape is required, as wood can be easily modified to meet specific needs.

Fiber-cement Soffit and Fascia

Vinyl is a type of plastic material that is commonly used for siding and other building materials. It is durable, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance, making it a popular choice for homeowners. Vinyl siding is available in a wide range of colors and styles, and it is relatively inexpensive compared to other siding materials. The most popular brands are Kaycan, Gentek, and Royal Building Products.

Gable Fascia

Gable fascia is a type of fascia that is installed along the gable ends of a roof. The gable is the triangular portion of a wall that is located between the two sloping sides of a pitched roof. The fascia is the board that is installed on the front edge of the roof and is typically used to support the bottom row of roof tiles or shingles, as well as to protect the roofline from water damage.

This is a great place to add a custom exterior finish such as a gable bracket or sunburst to personalize your project.

Exposed Rafter style

Exposed rafter style soffit is a design feature that is characterized by the visible rafters that extend from the roof overhang to the exterior wall of a building. Instead of being covered by a traditional soffit board or material, the rafters are left exposed to create a unique and rustic appearance. This style is often used in traditional or craftsman style homes, and can be made from a variety of materials such as wood, metal, or even fiber cement.
The exposed rafter style soffit is primarily a decorative feature that provides an open and airy feel to the exterior of the building. This design style can also be used to create a sense of depth and texture on the exterior of a home, and can be combined with other architectural features such as decorative brackets or corbels.
